The products are designed to exterminate efficiently, quickly and as painlessly as possible. Working with the Danish State Pest Laboratory has insured that we uphold certain ethics towards animals and the environment, which is an important factor in the development of our products.
Tested and approved by UBA in Germany
Tested against rigorous standards by the German Environment Agency (UBA) Anticimex’ non-chemical trap systems are evaluated by biologists at the UBA's specialized pest control testing facility. Following the strict international NoCheRo (Non-Chemical alternatives for Rodent control) guidelines co-developed by the UBA, our traps are tested to ensure high efficacy and a swift, humane impact that complies with strict modern animal welfare standards.
Tested and approved by Naturvårdsverket in Sweden
The traps are also approved by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket) which is Sweden’s public agency carrying out assignments on behalf of the Swedish Government relating to the environment in Sweden, the EU and internationally.
Tested and approved by ETA in Denmark
WisePipe, a trap specially constructed for combating rodent problems in sewage pipes, has the Danish ETA/VA (European Technical Approval for water supply and drainage systems) approval for use in sewage systems.

The products are approved by the Danish Safety Technology Authority (Sikkerhedsstyrelsen).
European CE approval
The products are CE-marked, ensuring conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA).
European ATEX approval
Anticimex Smart pipes 12 V / max 24 Ah sold as of May 2017 are ATEX approved, which means that they are permissible in environments with an explosive atmosphere. A Smart pipe model is ATEX approved when the system is a combination of an ATEX labelled trap, ATEX labelled control box and a ATEX labelled battery (12 V and max 24 Ah). Any combination of trap, control box and battery without ATEX labels is not ATEX approved.
